Night Out with Daddy
Last Friday I went to a girls' night party at a friend's house. It was a lot of fun to socialize, watch a chick flick, and eat junk food. It made me realize I need to do stuff like that more. Jim watched the kids for the night, and it turns out, they had a lot of fun too! They partied it up at a Halloween store. Tralee loved it and played dress up to her little heart's content. Hunter, on the other hand, was FREAKED most of the time. At one point Jim said they passed a scandalous costume portraying a curvaceous woman wearing a not-so-modest outfit. Tralee ran up to the costume, pointed at the chesty lady, and shouted, "Look Daddy! Boobies!" At least she knows her anatomy. Jim said he laughed while escorting her to a more kid friendly area. Here are some pics from their spooky night.

What a great idea for a kids fun night! I suppose Jim was looking at something freaky for Halloween. Maybe you will not be back from Utah in time for him to go frightening people with his Uncle. We go home from Disney on the 30th!?!?!?
Hahaha! Leslie I swear everytime i look at your pictures of Tralee, her shoes are on the wrong feet. I'm not judging, i think it's awesome and hilarious. On a side note, maybe tralee and hunter should be pebbles and bam bam for halloween. Then you and Jim could be Barney and Betty...or Fred and Wilma!! haha...anyway, i love you!
Oooh I like the idea of doing Pebbles, Bam Bam Fred and Wilma! That would be awesome! I like Tralee as a pirate too and in fact last year I bought Chase a hat with hair attached almost just like that when we went to a pirate party. Too much fun!
That is such a cute idea. It is great to let Daddy have the kids sometimes. Derek watched the girls for me the other night and when I got home he said something like, that was easy. I don't know why you are always so tired after putting the kids down. Ha! (I think he was joking...)
I love Tralee's crocs on the wrong feet:) So cute!
