About a week ago I read that the moon would be the closest to Earth it's been all year, and that due to --insert scientific jargon here -- it would be giving off a honey glow. This all sounded pretty amaze-balls to me, and because it's summer I let my wee ones stay up late to witness this once-in-a-honey-moon event. We were all pretty awe struck by the large glowing moon, and snapped a few pictures before running back inside to snuggle up and drift into dreamland.
